Purchasing and enhancing services

Once a customer fills in a valid room number to apply service there are two purchasing options:

  1. If it is the first time the custumer purchases any service for that room, or if any previous purchased service has expired, the option to choose is purchase services. After that the cashier will show all available options for the selected room (time packs and extra services). The customer will select desired options and proceed to checkout.
  2. If there still is a valid purchase running in that room it is possible to enhance services choosing that option. This option requires previous transaction code to identify which service wants to be enhanced. After that the cashier will show all available options for the selected room (time packs and extra services). The customer will select desired options and proceed to checkout. It is not possible to enhance a purchased service that has expired, in such an scenario the only option is to purchase a new service as explained above.

Cashiers with an enabled physical card reader will activate it to allow customer to complete payment using a physical credit/debit card. In those cases customers must follow the instructions in the pinpad screen to complete payment.

Any other cashier will show customers an online payment gateway. This payment gateway is hosted by a bank, whom will request card details to charge the purchased service's amount. It is possible that customer's card security features request additional verification codes to complete the payment.

As soon as services have been purchased the cashier will show and print a receipt with a transaction code. If customer filled in a valid email or mobile number a digital receipt with the same transaction code will be sent to that address/number. DO NOT LOSE THE TRANSACTION CODE as it is mandatory on any enhancement/transfer operation and in case of claims.

If purchased services include WiFi access, the receipt will also include all necessary connection data.

When purchasing new services they will be activated at the very moment the payment is completed, that is why you should never choose that option if you already have an active service, because the overlapped services would be wasted. When purchasing time extensions they will add up at the end of the current active service. When purchasing service enhancements, new services will be available immediately, and they will last until the expiration of the services being enhanced.

            Example 1: New purchase
            - Service to purchase: Standard TV 24 hours.
            - Date of purchase: January 1st at 11:00.
            - No previous services.
            - Resulting purchased services:
            Standard TV from 11:00 January 1st until 11:00 January 2nd

            Example 2: Time extension
            - Service to purchase: Standard TV 24 hours.
            - Date of purchase: January 1st at 11:00.
            - Previously purchased service: Standard TV, valid until 21:00 January 1st.
            - Resulting purchased services:
            Standard TV from 21:00 January 1st until 21:00 January 2nd

            Example 3: Service enhancement
            - Service to purchase: Wifi access enhancement
            - Date of purchase: January 1st at 11:00.
            - Previously purchased service: Standard TV (without wifi), valid until 21:00 January 1st.
            - Resulting purchased services:
            Standard TV with wifi access from 11:00 January 1st until 21:00 January 1st
